bits I’m working on (and stuff already out)

Work on DEBRIS has begun (also a site update)

I suppose work on Debris hasn’t officially begun. I usually don’t say that about a book until I have at least started the outline process. I will do that later this week, God willing, and will have more detailed preview then, as well. I do, however, have a TON of notes and ideas scattered around a dozen or so word doc files, just waiting for me to consolidate them into a novel-like package. I’m very excited about this one. It’ll be my second true sci-fi book. Hopefully it lives up to my enthusiasm.

I made a minor change to the site, which you can see in the menu at the top of the page. Instead of two pages for books, one for spiritual and one for secular, I split the secular books into two groups, one for children’s books and one for every other kind of fictional work. I thought it might make it a bit easier to find what you’re looking for. I also combined the “blog” and “samples” pages into one, which means all the old “blog” posts have been archived, but that’s okay. It was hard to keep both pages updated with new content, so combining them will make that easier, I think.

I hope to have Debris finished by Thanksgiving or so, and that’ll be my last book of the year, as I’m still working on the Psalms commentary, and won’t finish the rest of the Wisdom Literature (Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, and Song of Solomon) until the Spring of 2024, Lord willing.

Here’s to it!
