So what is DISHONORED about? Here's the cover, complete with a brief teaser...

I’ve written a lot about the look and inspiration behind the world of Dishonored, but very little about the actual plot. In truth, the story is very straightforward to summarize, albeit one that has plenty of twists and surprises along the way.

The cover art depicts a mountain with cherry blossoms blooming in the foreground, and is an image painted by a character in the first chapter of the book, done in digital watercolors to capture the aesthetic of the world the story inhabits.

As for the plot, the back side of the cover sums it up nicely…

“Seven companions risk death as they journey to a sacred altar
to perform a sacrifice needed to stop a celtic demon from destroying their island home.
Six of them know the truth,
and the seventh is the sacrifice.”

Hopefully that’s tantalizing enough!
