Work on DISHONORED is well underway!

I’m three chapters down and holy cow this thing is already over 14,000 words. Usually my chapters (unless it’s a children’s book) range between 2,500-3,000 words per, but this one is averaging between 4,500-5,000 words per chapter. I doubt I’ll maintain that ratio, as the chapters tend to shrink a bit once I’m out of the first act, but still, this has the makings of being as long as, say, Buried Deep, which was close to 400 pages in hardback form and had no art or supplementary material. This one already has about twenty pieces of art done, with close to thirty more on the way. It should be a robust book.

But will it be any good?

That’s always the question and right now it’s impossible to say. I’m enjoying it, at least, but then again after only three chapters, the adventure has only just gotten under way.
