THE TROLL WHO CHOSE TO READ is done. What’s next?
You can find my latest children’s book in the bookstore! Here’s the cover (click to buy)…
At 418 pages, it ended up being a hair longer than I anticipated but overall I’m very happy with how it turned out. There’s a good moral to the core of the story and, hopefully, enough surprises along the way to keep young readers engaged.
I’m taking a week or so off to finish up some other projects (specifically my Daniel commentary) then I’m diving right into 20K Lightyears from Earth, a sci-fi retelling (with a young adult twist) of the Jules Verne classic, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. I’ll be working on that as well as the fourth book in the CENTURY OF WIND, FIRE, AND WATER series. I’ll be writing both concurrently.
The CENTURY series has twelve parts, broken into four trilogies. This year I plan to finish trilogy #2. It should take me most of the year, but if I have time left over before December, I’ll try and knock out one more book: DISHONORED, an alternate-history story set in feudal Japan; it’s a tale I’ve been itching to write for over a year now and I can’t wait to dive into it.
